Quote of the Day

-- Quote of the Day --  © BrummetMedia.ca "I am odorous of the pine forest, The scent of pine-cones is in my hair. I smell of wild mint, and the tamarack swamps. The juice of alder-berries is on my lips, and the brown stain of hazel on my fingers. I am flecked with the dust of moth-wings,  and powdered with the pollen from the hearts of calla-lilies. I am wind-tawned and sun-browned. Wearing the marks of the open. I reek of freedom." ~ Muriel Strode; At the Roots of Grasses (1923) ~~   Visit the Brummet's @: h ttp://BrummetMedia.ca ~~

Authors and Media, networking

-- Author & Media Networking -- I've come across this really cool service for authors and members of the media, called Author Bookings managed by Pattie Crane of StoryMonsters.com.   After clicking the link below, scroll down that page just a little bit and you'll find a list. Here's where authors and also members of the media can network and learn about opportunities.   Pattie was kind enough to list our Conscious Discussions blog there as well because we offer guest spots here. Anyway, do check it out and I'm sure you'll find it a valuable resource: https://www.authorbookings.com/opportunities-for-authors   ~~   Visit the Brummet's @:  http://BrummetMedia.ca ~~
