Rising Above Circumstances

-- Quote of the Day --

“Stop acting as if life is a rehearsal.
Live this day as if it were your last.
The past is over and gone.
The future is not guaranteed.”

~ Wayne Dyer

Dale Stanton, author of The Hooker’s Daughter, speaker and passionate volunteer, grew up with mother who was a hooker, answering the door to Johns, dealt with ostracizing because of her mother's occupation – her father was a mess, and sadly her sister came out as a lesbian at a time when this was shunned. Today, Dale will share her personal journey in an effort to encourage others to rise above their circumstances, no matter how difficult, using their inner strength to determine the course of their own lives.
