Lakefield Animal Welfare Society - rescuing homeless, abandoned and injured animals and finding care, homes or foster programs for them depending on the needs of the animals. 

Lakeland Humane Society - helping homeless animals, raising funds for their care and socialization projects, fostering and in general making a difference in the lives of vulnerable pets.
