Schedule in the time to follow-up with your current connections so that you are on top of all the events, activities, publications and know if you need to provide something to help them, etc. Once the connection has proven fruitful, don't end things there. This is now a valuable contact. Be sure to reach out when it is appropriate and keep that connection alive.

I've decided to share a list of 10 online groups for our writer friends to check out. I'll continue this list of groups for several upcoming JFW posts. These group titles are not hyperlinked... Copy the name and look each writer's group up on FaceBook, and then request to join each group via their Facebook group page. I'll post 10 more next month.
