Several years ago I was a guest on the Savvy Broadcasting Podcast but recently I was inspired to listen to it again.

"There are ways to avoid those potential bombs in a relationship. Is there something else we can do with this, something else we should do?

You look at the benefits that he/she brings to the table, even though it doesn’t come naturally to you, you can see the benefits that activity or skill can bring to the business.

I think that understanding he has his own stresses, I have my stresses. I tend to be more of an introvert, he is more of a creative person and musician so he is comfortable with certain activities and I take on other activities. 

Dave is also an artist - It feeds his soul, his painting, his drumming his building drums or teaching drums fulfills him. 

Knowing that about him and trying not to take that away from him or using it against him as in:

 'oh you are taking so much time for yourself' 

But a person has to do that in order to come back into the picture as a whole person."
