Several years ago I was a guest on the Follow Your Passion podcast but recently I was inspired to listen to it again. 

This particular quote from the interview (below) struck me as being of interest to you as well.

"Feel the fear and do it anyway.

 It is always going to be scary. 

We’ve been in this business 2.5 decades and every time we launch something new it is always scary it is always a little unsettling at the very least. 

And we do it anyway.

Don’t be afraid to not have the skills or not have the experience. That is ok - most of us didn’t when we first started. There are a lot of things out there that I have yet to learn and sometimes it can be a little overwhelming; a little intimidating. 

I try to take it one day at a time. This day I am going to do these things. This week I am taking on these things because I know they lead toward my action plan for next year. 

There are steps that you have to take that will maybe be slow steps. Be patient with the process, allow the process to happen, be patient with yourself. Understand that you will not be at your best every single day – so give yourself a break - but do it anyway. 

Find those mentors, get out there and get the education that you need. It is out there ... & it is do-able! All you have to do is go out there and do it."
