of the best things about publishing our blog on this platform are the ability to create multiple pages. For computers and laptop users, the pages appear as tabs under the header image near the top of the page.  *If you are using a phone or other mobile device they will be available via a dropdown menu.  Today I'd like to call this aspect to your attention and hopefully have you browse the pages available to you right now.  By creating multiple pages on this blog we are able to share reviews of our published books for people to browse. We also created a page that shares endorsements from members of the media and also from guests we have featured on our blogs or former talk radio show and podcast.  You'll also find a page that shares links to our recent online media appearances - which fans of our blogs and books really seem to enjoy browsing.  There is an About page available too, which allows us to share more information about the blog, detail guidelines for s...

Blog Visitors - User Tip

One of the best things about publishing our blog on this particular platform (since 2008) is that ALL the posts are available as archives.  And this means - you can access all that amazing content in the form of helpful articles, informative interviews, inspiring quotes, thousands of featured nonprofits, businesses and individuals who are making the world a better place, advice and resources for writers, entrepreneurs and members of the media.  Today, I'd like to remind you of this amazing aspect - and direct you to the calendar. On laptops and computers you'll see the calendar listed on the right hand sidebar of this blog. *If you are using a phone or other mobile device you may have to look around for the calendar, perhaps in the menu.  The Calendar will show each year from 2008 to present... - choose one year, which will open it up so that you can see a folder for each month. Click on one month at a time in order to browse all the posts published that month. The posts...

Writing Influences... or kinda influences?

My Writing Influences Today's article was written by   Elise Smith. of :  https://www.mynzdreamblog.com I was asked recently, “ who has influenced my writing? ”  I do have favourite authors such as Wilber Smith, Bryce Courtney, many true stories and dozens of poets that I adore, but I cannot say these people are the biggest influence on my writing . I like these authors because they bring back nostalgia of my mother telling me stories about growing up in South Africa.   I like true stories as it reminds me I am not alone on this journey of life and I am drawn to poetry for release and comfort. What influences my writing are real life experiences, my own and others who have come through similar.   Writing about my life and sharing it with the world in hopes of inspiring and encouraging others has helped me immensely on my healing journey.   Writing my stories was like diving into the dark abyss, turning on-the-spot light, grabbing my demo...

Tips for Guest Blogging

-- Guest Blogging Tips --  * By George Russel Joseph Many people have been wondering whether guest blogging has an effect on SEO in current times. The truth is that the practice increases SEO. This is because it aids in increasing overall long tail traffic. While guest blogging still has the ability of increasing the ranking of your site, you need to observe a number of tips. The tips that you need to put into consideration include: Ensure that you post on relevant blogs Google recently rolled out measures to punish websites that had links in irrelevant blogs.
