You never know where networking can lead. I reached out to  Paullette Francoeur   in September, after seeing her FaceBook post celebrating her new venture: The Kootenay Author Mobile Book Store .  How exciting to find that she was just as enthusiastic about networking, and after a single meeting we felt like fast friends. It turns out she spent her childhood in Creston and her family home was just a few blocks from our house. Paullette recently returned to the area with her family in tow. She has a great entrepreneurial spirit and I'm sure her new venture will be successful.  I am proud to announce that she will now showcasing 6 of our books in this mobile store. It is an honour to be set among dozens of other Kootenay-based authors !!!  Paullette invites you to watch for her banner (see image above) and stop by for a visit. Creston Public Library A big hug of appreciation goes out to our local  Creston Library  who has shown incredible support for the many local published authors. The hard working staff and volunteers are constantly changing things up, offering new projects, entertainers, educators and all kinds of children events. I know I've said "thanks" already, however I finally found a picture we had taken, or was sent to us (I forget now) of the display that the library did for all the local published authors works that they had in stock.  I'm so proud that 5 of our 6 books were included. You can see our  Trash Talk  prominently displayed and the others are in there somewhere - I see  Purple Snowflake  on the top shelf... and our bookmarks too in the middle there!!!
