Positive Healing

I had the opportunity to re-visit an interview I was invited to do on the  Advisor Podcast    and while listening to it again I discovered this important part of the discussion below about surrounding oneself with positivity in order to heal, recover strength and become our own friend.  “  I found that I had to completely change my life and protect myself, so I went into overdrive and eliminated of all the magazines, all the newspapers cancelled television cancelled any relationship or any thing that was not negative in my life and just surrounded myself in a very selfish bubble like cocoon until I could heal myself.  Writing became a massive tool for me to heal during all of this. To express myself in a very private way without worrying about how it sounded to others. It was very helpful for me." https://www.spreaker.com/episode/embracing-resilience-a-guide-to-overcoming-grief-and-sadness--52898603 ~~~     Follow us & find our Books: ...

Do The Purge

Back in August I started a series of articles about getting through darkness whether it be caused by stress, anxiety, chronic pain, illness, grief or depression.  Looking back on my life-long struggle with darkness, I could see a pattern - and by taking tiny steps toward positivity I could slowly drag myself out of the depths of the darkness and the heavy suction pull of its vacuum.  This series that I started back in August (2024) share these tiny steps that lead toward positivity. We don't want to get them worried about us, regularly expressing concern for us after we unload on them.  Sharing can be difficult simply because it is hard to put how we are feeling in word format.  One of the tricks I learned was simply purging how I felt in on...

Break The Pattern

Feel free to scroll back, August - present day, to find more articles like this. Break The Pattern Sadly when we are going through stress, anxiety, chronic pain, anger or insomnia, depression or grief... when we are going through that we tend to do so alone. We hide how we are feeling from others. We don't want to impose. We don't want to weight them down.  ...We don't want them to hold us accountable either. We fear judgement, we can't trust our bodies, and we fear estrangement. Being in da...

Cut Out The Negativity

Back in August I started a series of articles about getting through darkness whether it be caused by stress, anxiety, chronic pain, illness, grief or depression.  Looking back on my own struggle with darkness, I could see a pattern - by taking tiny steps toward positivity and I could slowly drag myself out of the depths of the darkness and the heavy suction pull of its vacuum.  Today we continue this discussion with another simple positive habit for you, along with a few examples to help you apply it to your own daily life. Cut Out The Negativity When darkness comes in to our lives it is important to cut negative things out. Especially when we are easily triggered and feel vulnerable, susceptible to negativity. We can change this simply by feeding our minds with positivity, and eradicating anything negative.  Embrace Silence  Keep the device controls handy so that you can silence ads by pressing mute and wait patiently for them to end.
