Product Review Hemp Socks Jesse Clymer of  HempAuthority.com sent us several different items for review, so I decided to split them into groups and offer a series of 3 review articles  * Watch for them on  April 7th  ,  April 21st   (today)  and  May 8 th . Interestingly, I realized that back in 2013 I had taken on another review project for this company; which you can find HERE . If you are interested in more products in this genre, here is a different review on hemp products that I did in 2018 for the  Choose Natural store. As you can see, hemp can be made into just about anything from surfboards and hemp flooring, to the hemp djembe (hand drum) my husband   Dave makes. One quick look at the  HempAuthority.com   site shows they offer a wide variety of items; clothing and accessories, natural beauty products, pain management and hemp hearts – aka hulled seeds. By the way - Have you ever tried hemp seed or...

Product Review Beaded Hemp Jewelry Jesse Clymer, from HempAuthority.com ,  connected with me recently (February 25) inquiring about our review policies and within a short time he had arranged for a package of items to come our way. The package arrived just 12 days later (March 6 th ).  The exterior and interior bags were recyclable and there was no excess packaging inside. I’d like to mention here that it’s been a pleasure working with Jesse on this project – he’s professional and follows through quickly.  Jesse chose to send a variety of products, so I decided to split them into groups and offer a series of 3 seperate review articles instead of one very long one. * Watch for them on April 7th (today), April 21st and May 8 th . I resonated with this US company’s mission: “providing global quality-of-life by providing our customers quality and affordable products using innovative and sustainable business practices and encouraging the shift to m...

Product Review Erica Plessis is the owner of Choose Natural , a business that recently opened in Creston BC (Canada). Walking into the store, I couldn’t help but experience how open, clean and natural it felt. The well-lit room is lined with a great deal of Canadian made products. You’ll find Healing Hollow   organic, wild-harvested essential oil products and bath-bombs “ loaded with omega cluster, vitamins, minerals, plant sterols, GLA, CBD ” that are hand-made locally  (Cranbrook, BC – Canada) . Dotting the shelves periodically are beautifully planted succulents from a local nursery and whimsical wood signs made by a local artist. You won’t find drops and tinctures here however, but instead nutritional oil specially designed for humans and another for pets. You’ll also find creams and pet treats amongst many other health products. Erica tells us that the most popular products are the nutritional oil, the gel-cap supplements and the topical cream. Eric...

* Learn more about the product review policy; queries welcome :)  http://consciousdiscussions.blogspot.com/p/brummets-product-reviews.html Product Review Isn’t it heart-warming to see inspiring people taking the cards they are dealt and making way for a better life? Local entrepreneur Jacqueline Penner is doing just that. “ My sewing is an important part of my living… I can only work part time due to severe rheumatoid arthritis and I appreciate each customer who supports me.” Jacqueline explains. She makes quite a number of products including bean bags, baby wraps, bags, curtains, kitchen towels and cushions, but the one that peaked my interest the most was the “ Cooling Neck Scarves ”. Having dealt with chronic pain and years of physiotherapy of one sort or another, I am familiar with the benefits of hot, cold (usually a gel product that is placed in the fridge) and ice packs for injury and had, at times, used them also to combat summer's heat.  ...
