quote of the day

Quote of the Day © BrummetMedia.ca "To a brain wearied by the din of the city,  the clatter of wheels,  the jingle of street cars,  the discord of bells, the cries of venders,  the ear-splitting whistles of factory and shop,  ...how refreshing is the heavenly stillness of the country!  To the soul tortured by the sight of ills it cannot cure,  wrongs it cannot right,  and sufferings it cannot relieve,  how blessed to be alone with nature,  with trees living free,  unfettered lives,  and flowers content each in its native spot,  with brooks singing of joy and good cheer,  with mountains preaching divine peace and rest!  ~ Olive Thorne Miller ~~ Visit the Brummet's @:  http://BrummetMedia.ca ~~

jokes

Jokey Joke Jokes A little something to lighten the day... -- Don't bother walking a mile in my shoes, that would be boring. Spend thirty seconds in my head - that will freak you right out! -- The more you weight - the harder you are to kidnap. Stay safe: Eat cake. -- Insanity doesn't run in our family... It strolls through, taking its time getting to know everyone personally! -- ~~ Visit the Brummet's @:  http://BrummetMedia.ca ~~

Interviews include Rat Scabies, Arthur Matthews, Kristin Hersh, Steve Hackett, Denny Laine and Roger McGuinn. It is often the trait of a great band that they can be remembered for one masterful album alone. For Led Zeppelin , this album was their fourth album. For Dire Straits , it was Brothers in Arms . Though some fans would argue that Aftermath and Beggars Banquet show Mick Jagger and Keith Richards at the peak of their songwriting skills, popular opinion shows that it is Exile On Main Street that is their emerald jewel (or maybe their Ruby Tuesday ). Listening to this great album I can fully understand why. What makes Exile truly unique is that it the band produced their best work at a time when many of their sixties peer...
