Product Review Cheryle Mauthe , a Kootenay-based (BC, Canada) Independent Consultant with Norwex , approached me back in early December with a product review query. After hearing just a little about the products, I was happy to comply. As it happens, Cheryle resides nearby and she decided to deliver the products and samples to my door. It is unusual for me to come face-to-face with the people behind the products I review and it was a nice experience; she seemed passionate about reducing exposure to chemicals and is committed to a healthy lifestyle.  I received (see pics) the "Household Package" which included:   - Enviro Cloth (multipurpose) - Window Polishing Cloth - Dust Mitt - Powdered Laundry Detergent Sample - Powdered Dishwashing Detergent Sample Cheryle also included a catalogue and a couple of informative brochures about the company. She explained that all we need to do is " simply rinse under warm, running water, wring out and hang to dry. The BacLock technology...

Kudo's !!  Wind farms are hardly new, and while the industry has faced a myriad of challenges, it has also risen to face them head on with innovative solutions. There are many on shore wind farms, some that share farm land, others that operate over infertile ground... and now, we see floating wind farms offshore.  Just a few years ago in Scotland the world's first floating off shore wind farm was established, in depths up to 80 m. - providing enough renewable electricity to power over 50,000 buildings.  It will certainly be interesting to see where alternative energy industries will take us next :) ~~   Visit the Brummet's   Main Website Find them elsewhere online  HERE   ~~

A former journalist, Rachel published in the LA Times , appeared on the TODAY Show,  and gave her second TEDx talk in 2019. She and I really bonded over the shared passions  re: how small actions can have a profound, positive impact. You've got to check out her Tedx talk on Can One Straw Change The World ?  I'm glad to say that we were inspired to switch over to stainless steel straws (dishwasher safe) well over a decade ago... and even take them travelling so that we avoid plastic ones at fast food or corner store outlets. Rachel is so inspiring to me - her life is filled with impressive activism for creating positive change. For instance, did you know that she directed the nonprofits Healthy Child Healthy World and the 5 Gyres Institute and has blogged as Mommy Greenest since 2008? Impressive - right? So, today Rachel is here to share some of the behind-the-scenes...
