Media Appearance

Media Appearance Alley-cat, backend, direct, hands-on, indirect, soft-sell, underground, backdoor, social marketing, green-washing .... and many other terms in the marketing industry were the topic of the day in this amazing discussion with host Megan Robinson and me (Lillian) on the Transparency Talks podcast. I had such a great time, and Megan asked excellent questions that took the interview to another level. It aired live March 29th on Facebook, StreamYard and YouTube ... and is now available for you to view at your convenience at:  https://youtu.be/IIeCwpnK8WQ ~~~   Discover Our Books on Amazon : https://amazon.com/author/lillianbrummet   Find us online via these landing pages:  https://taplink.cc/brummet  https://linktr.ee/LillianBrummet ~~~

seed libraries

Seed Libraries You've probably heard of corner libraries or free book libraries where people build little enclosures, placed in a public place, and these are used for people to freely share used books with anyone who wants to find something to read.   Recently I learned of a similar project for seeds, and I thought it was such a great idea that I had to create this post. In Fernie (BC, Canada) they have seeds available in envelopes or bags, stored inside glass jars. This library requires membership, at a lifetime fee of $10 members gain access to workshops, materials and seeds. Check out the article at:  https://seeds.ca/d/?t=a084e01200004293   Here in Creston we also have a seed saving group:  The Creston Community Seed Bank Society In response to this phenomenal idea, Seeds Of Diversity established a special page on their website discussing the topic and sharing locations where seed libraries currently exist. Find that here:  https://seeds.ca/d/?t=80af8...

quote of the day

Quote of the Day  ©BrummetMedia.ca " Perfect silence in Nature is impossible.  Even in that awful hush before a thunderstorm,  when the world seems dead,  already slain by some cataclysmic disaster,  the tiny twitter of a bird,  the cry of a sheep or the fluttering of a dead leaf to earth,  breaks the stillness;  and in the darkest hours of night an owl may hoot mournfully,  a vagrant wind disturb the slumbering trees.  Only those with ears untuned to the infinite minute sounds of Nature  dream that there can be silence,  for absolute silence is an attribute of death,  and Nature is eternally pregnant with life...  the choiring of the birds at dawn,  the minute yet miraculous drone of the insects  on a hot summer's day  — humming of a multitude of flies and bees,  chirping of grasshoppers,  the almost imperceptible thrum of hovering wings.   How still,  how quiet the mind must be ...
