Organizers of the BC Arts Council,  West Kootenay Regional Arts Council and Arts BC (Canada) sent me this notice that I just had to share with our blog readers: https://www.wkartscouncil.com/ It’s time we had a talk! Join fellow artists, performers, writers and cultural organizers for a meet-up. The West Kootenay Regional Arts Council and Arts BC have partnered to create two gatherings—one in the East Kootenays and one in the West Kootenays. This will be a great opportunity to participate in professional development activities focused on equity, diversity and justice facilitated by Carla Stephenson of RAIL.  Connect with representatives from the BC Arts Council , Arts BC , and your peers across the sector.  Be inspired by artists and organizations as they share their stories and strategies, and inform WKRAC about your current strengths and obstacles to help us develop responsive regional supports. Come to create new relationships with artists and arts organizations and ...

It was such an amazing experience being featured on Andy's Personal Development   Podcast . Andy is also a speaker and coach based in " The Twin Island Republic of Trinidad & Tobago " regions. It's been pretty amazing to travel the globe through being a featured guest on podcasts based in Canada... just a few miles away in fact, and then off to England, New Zealand, Australia, and now, Trinidad. ...I guess I sidetracked a bit there... but I am truly excited about sharing this interview with you today.  Andy brought up some amazing awards we received and I got to relive the experiences those brought us in this discussion.  He delved into lots of deep topics, flowing easily from conscious business, to creating positive change, to having a positive mindset and back to business advice to close the interview. Andy Charles is definitely a gracious person who makes his guests feel really special :) You can find the #interview: On the Brummet Media Channel 's " ...

I absolutely adored this discussion on Nancy Guitar's Small Talk Youtube Channel -  This was such a great conversation about living green!  A topic I adore, and her condo building should be commended for the green and conscious policies it has in place 🙂 Kudos to them!!! Wouldn't it be great if the committee did end up allowing more green spaces on people's balconies! The steps they've taken are already inspiring... https://youtu.be/ZcHhNhKnzKk   🙂 I hope our listeners are as moved as I was by this discussion and if they want to find out more on this topic simply browse the previously published posts here on this blog. Or they can head over to Amazon and check out our Trash Talk - It's Easy To Be Green series.  ~~~   Discover the Brummet's Books on Amazon :  https://www.amazon.com/stores/author/B0845RLK1X  Find Them Online via :  https://taplink.cc/brummet  https://linktr.ee/LillianBrummet ~~~

Columbia Basin Trust puts out this really inspiring e-newsletter and in one of these they had this to say about what we called Conscious Clean Walking in our Trash Talk series: Protect Ground-Nesting Birds  Care for fragile ecosystems by keeping dogs leashed Did you know that April through July is breeding season for many species of ground-nesting birds, including Oregon's state bird, the western meadowlark ( Sturnella neglecta )? As you hit the trails this summer, we encourage you to keep your dog on leash and obey all posted rules to protect these birds. Other reminders for  recreating responsibly  include not trampling flowers or plants, packing out all waste (including dog poop!), and brushing off your boots before and after a hike to help prevent the spread of invasive weeds.  ~~~   Discover the Brummet's Books on Amazon :  https://www.amazon.com/stores/author/B0845RLK1X  Find Them Online via :  https://taplink.cc/brumm...
