Well, it is time for another referral corner - where we celebrate and highlight non-profit organizations working to make this world a better place. Hopefully you'll have a chance to visit their sites, perhaps get involved with their various on-going campaigns, and share their information with your friends on social networking sites, etc.

Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds:

This organization is an internationally recognized leader for seabird rehabilitation and rescue. They have saved nearly one hundred thousand African penguins from oil spills since the late 1960's. Their main focus is to conserve and protect seabird populations, but also collaborate on awareness campaigns and research projects.

Roots of Change Organization:

This California-based group (USA) began back in 1999, collaborating with sustainable agriculture organizations with the goal of creating a sustainable food system, with healthier more affordable food and farms.
