, the
product arrived sometime after or around July 7th I'm not sure of the exact
date it arrived, however it was there for us when Dave visited the US postal
service on his next trip which was July 11th.
As you can see by the
images below the white plastic (#2, recyclable) bottle came with a serrated
clear plastic safety seal around the cap, ensuring the integrity of the product
while easing the removal of the seal. After taking that seal off and unscrewing
the cap, I found a 2nd safety seal that easily pealed off the top of
the bottle. Inside were a small bat of cotton (compostable, shred into small
pieces first) and a moisture prevention envelope that should be removed after
opening. The cap has a nice dispensary hole that I thought was a very nice
touch, enabling me to flip it open and just tap out a pill instead of having to
unscrew the cap and pour out into the palm of my hand. As you can see from the
image with the dime and pill beside each other below, the pill is very small
and round – very easy to swallow.
My bottle had a
manufacturing date of June 2015, but did not have a “use before” or shelf-life
date information – except that it does needs to be stored in a cool, dry place.
Each bottle contains 60 pills, the company calls them “pearls” – just take one
little pearl anytime during the day for regular maintenance. For people needing
a little extra, the company suggest taking up to 3 pearls a day.

Here’s an interesting
fact for you:
Did you know that “70% of your body's immune system is found in the gut wall (as they call
it) according to Johns Hopkins Medicine”?
(*quoted from company’s product information)
Probiotics help the
body produce and absorb Vitamins K and B, along with other vitamins and
nutrients, in your digestive system. They help relieve most of the common
digestive issues ranging from IBS, to lactose intolerance, oral health and
allergies. They even help combat side effects of antibiotics. Healthy digestive
tracts have “good” bacteria that reduce constipation, bloating, gas, diarrhea
and fight infection and disease.
