I was recently a guest on the Caregiver Cast podcast, a service provided through the Caregiver Lifeline Community.
Host Mary Petrucci and I had an incredibly powerful & healing, in-depth and brutally honest conversation about caregiving & grief. We speak about the echoes of guilt, the exhaustion... we offer tips and discuss the benefits of delegating.
*Note: During this discussion when we touched on being OK with delegating I wanted to clarify one thing here. ...If you are going to delegate, be sure to do so only when someone asks you how they might help ....and always thank them, sharing how it helped you. Avoid repeatedly relying on someone possibly weighing them down, allow them to ask if they can help again and then share some ways they might do so. :)
