Urban Safari Rescue Society offers presentations, parties, courses, camps and other events. Their Surrey, BC (Canada) area volunteers and staff provide care and permanent homes for exotic, rescued animals.

Upper Credit Humane Society animal shelter (based in ON, Canada) provides essential care for more than 300 needy animals every year & their volunteers staff a thrift store that generates a majority of their funding. That funding is essential to providing care to everything from chinchillas, rats, birds, rabbits, pigs, dogs cats to numerous wildlife. 

Yet another reason to shop at thrift stores!

Valley Therapeutic Equestrian Association is a volunteer-run charity based out of Langley, BC (Canada). Their focuse is to provide therapueutic horseback riding for 75 people per week, every single year. This type of therapy has proven to increate the quality of life for those with special needs & emotional trauma.
