-- Product Review --  Most North Americans are not getting enough of the good fats (omega 3, 6, 9, etc) and it is wise to take a supplement of these nutrients when you can. Omega’s are essential to a number of bodily functions including: healthy heart, circulation, cholesterol levels, reduces inflammation, improves immune system, reduces stress, aides emotional imbalance, hormone balance, fertility, headaches/migraines, weight management, brain and joint support, healthy skin, etc. We began discussing the opportunity to review a single bottle of Omega 3 Supreme manufactured by Life & Food back around July 23 rd and the product arrived August 5 th in our mail box in an appropriately sized white bubble plastic envelope. The product was housed in a paperboard box that was printed on all sides with helpful information about the product. Each bottle contains 180 soft-gel capsules offering an impressive 1,400 mg fish oil – 75% omega-e’s (644 ...

-- Product Review --  Vitamin D3 is officially known as cholecalciferol , nicknamed the "sunshine vitamin" since the body naturally produces it when exposed to the sun.   Aside from exposure to sunlight, you can also obtain Vitamin D3 by eating certain foods, such as mushrooms, fish, eggs, and milk products fortified with the vitamin. Vitamin D3 is a crucial nutrient for overall health – especially in areas that have long winter periods, people who use a lot of sunscreen products and those who spend a lot of time indoors. Even though the body is capable of manufacturing Vitamin D3 from the UVB rays of sunlight, millions of individuals are deficient in this nutrient. Vitamin D is involved in many aspects of good health from maintaining muscles, bones, teeth and immune system, to emotional issues and skin problems. I was quite excited to have the opportunity to review Zahler's supplemental doses of this critical vitamin. We started the discus...

-- Product Review --  Michael, customer rep with NanoNutra, worked with me on getting this product review here for you today. The product was ordered on June 11, but didn’t arrive until June 20 th . Unfortunately it was shipped from Amazon.com in a cardboard box that was easily 3 times the necessary size with 6 Air-Plus brand bubble balloon things used for packaging. I felt that was a lot of wasted space and packaging – although it was recyclable.  The body gradually loses its normally efficient ability to process vitamin C from foods as it ages, and this vitamin is essential to support the immune system, prevent and fight diseases and cancer, support collagen production, improves energy levels, protects skin and joints, ease healing, enhance healthy gums and teeth, and support brain and circulatory systems as well. Vitamin C is also a powerful anti-oxidant, fighting free radicals and damage from chemicals, alcohol, exposure to natu...

-- Product Review -- I was so excited to have the opportunity to review yet another Vita Sciences (based in Airmont, NY, US) product! Their Maxasorb B 12 serum arrived in small cardboard envelope, and encased in a white and blue paperboard, perfectly sized box, with no additional and unnecessary packaging. Of course I had to try it right away… the serum has a slight odor, similar to the stuff dentists use to clean teeth; it is pink in color, and absorbs in seconds without residue on the skin or a greasy feeling like some creams and serums leave behind. * There are 30 doses per tube. One “dose” = 2 full pumps, rub onto skin once per day or as needed.  Store at 55-86˚ F. I have occasional flare-ups of eczema and had a flare up just before receiving this serum, so I was using the traditional cortisone twice when the itching and raised skin became unbearable and the natural remedies I’ve learned of to use at home including avoiding pu...

-- Product Review --  I am extremely impressed with the generosity and professionalism of Martin, marketing rep for Natural Tonus & Power company, who around May 21st sent me 6 of their products – which I decided to split into *2 review articles, with 3 products reviewed in each article. The company is based in Elkhart, Indiana (USA). * The first article was published on June 29 th : http://consciousdiscussions.blogspot.com/2015/06/product-review_29.html In this article I will review: Natural Moisturizing Oil – 100% Pure Organic Moroccan Argan Oil Maximum Strength – Natural Hair Formula Powerful Anti-aging Formula – Natural Cutey Renew Find these and other products offered through this company at: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=bl_dp_s_web_3760911?ie=UTF8...

-- Product Review --  Joe Jacobs, marketing agent for Quality Encapsulations offered their Omega 3 Fish oil product for review back on May 21 st , was to arrive by May 27 th , but we weren’t able to pick it up until May 30 th at the US postal service provider, a couple miles on the US side of the border from us.  Their product differs from others in that the company “ invested time, money, energy and extensive research, to create an Omega 3 Fish Oil which is rich in EPA, DHA, Omega Fatty acids. And here is the catch, it has the least aftertaste that is possible for "Fish Oil" to have (compere to any other brand on the market), and believe it or not our price is also impossible to meet. ” For those of you who are not already aware, omega fatty acids are hard to find in today’s diet in the quantity we need for heart, skin, joint and brain health. Omega’s improve immunity, circulation, ability to heal, lower bad cholesterol and offer ...

-- Whole-Food Nutritional Supplement, Part 2 --   On January 16 th I was approached by Patrick Ross of the Marketing Staff for NutriGold Inc. ( http://NutriGold.com ) to do a few reviews of some of their many products, which Patrick reported as shipped on January 20 th, but didn’t arrive until Feb 9th. Due to the number of products I received in 2 separate packages, I’ve decided to create a 2-part review project. You can click here to find Part 1 …you may notice the intro/outro of the reviews are similar. Whenever I do a review I look quite closely at a company, read the customer comments, do online research, scan their site, and read the material they send. In this case the company sent a 20-page catalog and the first thing I noticed were 2 symbols on the index page – one for Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and a “ please recycle ” symbol encouraging people to recycle their product information package.  SFI certifies that the catalog ...
