-- Product Review -- I truly enjoyed working with Roslyn the creative engineer for Pully Pup ( DelightForLife.com ) in getting this product review together for our readers. We initially touched base back in July around the 20 th and we ended up picking up the Pullypup Hands Free Walking and Running Dog Leash at the US border on August 3 rd , where we use a US postal service for Amazon.com orders. The product arrived in a (11” wide X 14” long) yellow bubble envelope. The product was housed in a clear plastic bag, along with a paperboard label folded in half and stapled across the top of the bag. I used a staple remover tool to separate to paperboard from the plastic so that both were able to go into our local recycling stream. The label had only a limited amount of product information such as it was made in China (high environmental impact therefore when you consider shipping, etc.). The company also states that there is no guarantee or warranty with the produ...

Important tips for protecting kids from the sun * Today’s article was written by Meagan Deacon... it was a bit long so I've split it into a few parts... today is part 1.   Megan invites our readers to check out ParknPool - the leading online supplier of commercial grade site amenities and furnishings such as picnic tables, park benches, trash receptacles, drinking fountains, bleachers and playgrounds. It is important to us that all kids and adults spend as much time in the outdoors as possible. For more information visit  http://www.parknpool.com . Spending too much time outside in the summer can be harmful for children. The sun's powerful and harmful ultraviolet rays can cause skin damage and sunburn. To make sure that kids in your community are protected against the sun while enjoying playground equipment, keep the following...

-- Product Review --  I first connected with Peter MacDonald, the founder and owner of Very Dirty Carpets (VeryDirtyCarpet.com) re: the review project for their Carpet and Upholstery Spot and Stain Remover around July 24 th .  We picked it up on August 3 rd at the border where we use a US postal service outlet located a few miles south of us for items that don’t ship to Canada inexpensively. It arrived in a 7” high X 8” wide X 14” long cardboard box with brown paper packaging inside to protect the bottle. The product was also sealed against leaks during shipping with a plastic bag that you have to cut open. The product is housed in a white, 32 fl. oz. (946) ml. sized plastic spray bottle. The nozzle turns so you can have it safely locked in the off position when not in use. Peter did caution to test a small inconspicuous area of the carpet or upholstery fabric to ensure there would be no issues with using the product first – a common precaution in the ...

Importance of Sports in a child’s life     * Today’s article was written by Daniel Ashworth who believes in the significance of school awards , and how these medals or plaques can play an important role in encouraging the participant to perform better and emerge victorious. . These days, it has become hard to encourage children to join sports. Many would rather play virtual versions of sports on a video game console inside their houses. When they are playing video games, they have access to food and comfort. However, video games and virtual versions of sports are not healthy when it comes to the long term development of their physical and mental capabilities. At times, even parents can become a part of this cycle. Parents may put too much of a focus on academics. While academics do hold a place of importance, there are some things that academics alone cannot give to children. This is why it is important for children to engage in sp...
